but i met people i have never actually gone out with before: Rai, Kelvin, Im, Xin Yi. Dawn unfortunately had to leave once i reached.

well, Im and Rai are cam whores. i had fun with them all the same. :D

we just chilled there. Rai and i had mocktails.

i had cinderella, which turned out to be a disappointing mixture of passionfruit juice and something.
Rai got a shirley temple. and the rest, i have no idea.

Who would have guessed right, this is under my chapter of "Romantic Relationships".
Oh yes, how interesting, academic literature on romance AND flirting.

basically, here's the low-down of that journal.

In a study, first of all, it was found that men are still expected to be the initiators of flirting.
Flirting is a sort of seduction.
Physically attractive people tend to have more, and more successful flirting episodes because
1. evolutionary psychology has led humans to be socialised to think that what is beautiful is good.
2. because of that, these physically attractive people get more practice at their social skills.

the study was a pilot project, and was only conducted based on a party setting.

anyway, the two most effective initial flirting techniques were:

1. eliciting self disclosure (from the woman)
2. praise.
