international women's day.

was yesterday.
and today, SCWO( singapore council of women organisation) had an event.

i went to volunteer.
got to see the first lady, and shake hands with some minister of state.
all these women of power.

and yet.
the things they say.

status, power and position.
and the individuals inside, insecure.

and so they advocate.
but why steer them away from what they are capable of.
why make a big deal.
if women are better in the kitchen, they are better in the kitchen.
why see it as inferior?
there can be power and status and position in the littlest thing.
if you know how to use it.
