Living By My Own Rules

snap to the past

i was reading through some of my older posts.
gosh, i don't know whether my writing reflects it, but i think i have changed.
and personally, for the better.
saw some photos of rayn from his baby days too. time flies is a cliche, but one that is hard to replace when you really think about it.

so many times, i have trouble recalling what i did the previous week, because it ended before i could even absorb fully what happened.
quite scary.
soon enough i will be hitting 60, shriveled up, still single and wondering what the hell i have done with my life.

i think about death very often. what if i die? what if the people who matter to me die? And i am talking anyone who matters, even just acquaintances who cheer me up. I think about individuals, and being at their funeral. I think it is some sort of a preparation process. Because it will happen one day, if i myself am alive to witness it.

So O’ brothers! Remember death as often as you can in the 24 hours of your daily life and make this your habit. It could be your turn next then your friends, family and neighbours will place you under the ground.
Start now before if it is too late!

I got this from a Muslim website. We are encouraged to think about death- it is an unescapable reality.

I wonder how I will die, like really.
i can't rem what the facebook quiz said, but it was pure trash. hehe.

anyway, i was happy that i ate less than necessary today.
till i went over to my sister's house.
amin bought a cheeseburger for both of us. it was nothing short of sumptuous!

every night, i go to bed thinking that i wana wake up earlier and exercise.
but NO, it has not happened even once in the past 4 months.
except for that one saturday where ben, kim, carol, her bf, and i were supposed to go running.
i got up at 7. and then i couldnt go back to sleep although the rest were not gonna run.
so i went running alone.
was such a shiok feeling
the day was excellent.
i went home and had a shower just in time to join my sister, amin, rayn and zai for breakfast and swensens-their breakfasts are suited for kings, by the way.

and then spent the rest of the day at the expo, where cutie(my 3rd sis) very sweetly bought a few things for me. :))

i still remember! gosh, it was more than a month ago.

photos of i dont know what.. something anything coming up.
cos if not this will be become an essay-ish blog.

haha. :))

alright, till again!
