working away from office

has been a refreshing change.
although i was stuck in a hospital instead.
i think practically everyone could recognise me when i went back yesterday.
i was there from 0945 to 1930 on Monday!

nothing exciting in my life now currently, except i got to know someone new, and have been talking to this person a lot more than i have been talking to anyone new.. for the past three months?

well, the thing about writing such things in a blog is that sometimes its sad, when i look back on my archives.

cos more often than not, the person and i would have lost touch already.
i question the time and energy spent on these people sometimes.
but well, it usually becomes a happy habit.
and once in a while, these people stay as my good friends.

it's great to have friends from a wide array of backgrounds.
you really hear different sorta life stories.. very different from my own.

think that many of those who go through the jc-uni route are sheltered.
they don't know what others going through, and sadly, their lives revolve around a very narrow reality.

while i am sheltered enough, i think i have lived vicariously through these different characters i have met from the shady virtual world.
some people have really taught me some useful lessons. :)

anyway, i haven't uploaded photos from my birthday cos i wana do it one-shot.
i need to take a photo of the very very touching beautiful card that rayn made for me with the help of his mummy.

all in all, i have had a pretty satisfying birthday.
haha, narcissistic me, talking about it one week on!
haha.

anyway, the gift count sure drops as you grow older.
