Living By My Own Rules

221 leaves me depressed.

like really.
i really have to start reading the papers.
and i guess time management is not my cup of tea, eh?

well, it was quiet in a good way?
thanks a lot la.
so should i just shut up? maybe i should.
you know, i hate feeling this way.

dust particles.

got into my nose and wreaked havoc.
was away on medical leave(just trying to put it right, haha) on Monday.
i really didnt wana miss my lessons, but ohh well.

haha i havent blogged for so long.
cooking didnt take place on the 25th cos khad's grandma forgot to buy the fish.. (oops)
and 18th of august was a GREAAATT night of clubbing with my darling sisters.
hehehehehhe. I liikkkeeee.
i will post pics soon, though they are pretty unflattering...looked like i went for a workout
"tone down" isit? idiot.
hahahaha.

well in the words of a wise man.. i have a disease called..
let me try this..
oxylessosomethingmorojalelah.
haha. :p
well anyway.

i caught up with kavi today!
after like 3 whole months!
hehehhe i have missed her!
it was gooood.
*muacks muacks* dearie!
to yet another meeting soon again. ;)

oh, and i am onboard the CI Club, heck the elections, and congrats to Shu Hui. ;)

in the moment of reverie.

In the wilderness of dreams i find
a feeling truly divine.
thrust upon me with the heat of summer.
the beating of the heart;a slight stammer.

A whirlwind of thrill it brought
and in the unconsciousness; out with what i sought.
And in an instant, a glance.
Ever so slight, a flickering chance.

And then I awake, to bare, white, walls.
To see my hopes lingering-
crushed paper balls.

we learnt how to cook sambal.
and on sunday, i decided to put what i learnt into practice!
my sis made fried rice, while i made hotdog sambal.
and they said it was really nice! (they being my family)
hahaa. sooo happy.
anyway, our mission next week will be cooking fish curry.

at it again.

haha.
here i am, back to blogging during lectures.
if my sisters are reading this, before any thought enters your heads, i would like you to take a look at my angle(45 degrees. HAHAHA)
well anyway, you see, blogging, in no way is distracting as it is keeping me awake. :)

i mean, come on, i did learn that the colours in our wonderful fireworks are caused by the chemicals which cause the colours.
erm, please do not ask me to go into detail, thank you very much.

by the way, Dr D. said that Charles Darwin was an amazing procrastinator.
and something tells me i am on the way to such greatness then.
hehehe.
well, i guess i am awake for now.
be right back, babies.

karaoke session

the night before school started, i was at Cash Karaoke Studio.
with my sisters.
singing.
tamil songs.
yes, they do have tamil songs!
it was sooo fun!
i love my sisters, did i tell you?

lots of people have told us we look too alike to be distinguished.

haha, yes i was hungry. see my green water bottle? always there for me. haha.

we had those moments of laughter.

and there was no spoon, so i decided to drink the soup out.

and with emotions, we sing. :)

like this.

i really like this song.
if you want to hear it better,

singaporeans.

as National Day draws near, i just want to comment on Singaporeans.
i have always referred to Singaporeans as "they" and "them," not "we" and "us".
that is because i seriously dont think i mirror many singaporeans' actions.

especially the bad ones.
i am NOT kiasu.
except when it comes to packing for camps.
but actually, this is not the point.

i want to highlight two things.
i finally got to see some light in the darkness.
a few nights ago, my sisters and i were waiting for a cab near my house, with Rayn of course.
and then this guy came to flag a cab opposite us.

you see, typical Singaporean behaviour is to cut anyone who is waiting for a cab, so they get a cab first.
once, when i went to a guy and his girlfriend to let him know very politely that me and my friends came to wait for a cab first, he muttered under his breath: "but this is singapore what..."
in mandarin of course, but come on. think i dont understand even that much?
ignorant bafoon.

anyway, point being; the guy opposite got a cab first, but he didnt get into it. he directed it towards my sis.
it was seriously nice of him!
thanks, whoever you are, man!
:)

another thing is.
why dont singaporeans move in right to the back of the bus?
all these skinny asses who dont take up much space, and wouldnt have much problem moving to the back of the bus.
and yet they stand their lil ass right where they stood initially.
then one part of the bus is really spacious, and the front is usually all squeezy.
and then there'll be some people who cant board the bus.
how inconsiderate can they get?
i mean, if i can find the space to move to the rear, i am sure then can, too!
horrible people.

pics from long ago.

which still give the same kinda joy.
finally got the pics from my sis!

Tamil Hip Hop Era

i think it was brilliant.
Yogi B and Natchatra are really really really good.

the background breakdancers were a disappointment though.
did not add anything to the show really.

MC Rishi was also great- damn cool.
i really enjoyed myself, but i think the concert would have been much better off in like KL or something.
Singaporeans make such boring audience man!

i felt extremely good today.
i mean, despite having to change like 10 times or something.
the end product was.. very satisfactory. =D

Malik looked really good in his all-white too! =)
and kudos to him and the rest of them for pulling off the show!
i will update about anu's bday and stuff!
=D
