as National Day draws near, i just want to comment on Singaporeans.
i have always referred to Singaporeans as "they" and "them," not "we" and "us".
that is because i seriously dont think i mirror many singaporeans' actions.
especially the bad ones.
i am NOT kiasu.
except when it comes to packing for camps.
but actually, this is not the point.
i want to highlight two things.
i finally got to see some light in the darkness.
a few nights ago, my sisters and i were waiting for a cab near my house, with Rayn of course.
and then this guy came to flag a cab opposite us.
you see, typical Singaporean behaviour is to cut anyone who is waiting for a cab, so they get a cab first.
once, when i went to a guy and his girlfriend to let him know very politely that me and my friends came to wait for a cab first, he muttered under his breath: "but this is singapore what..."
in mandarin of course, but come on. think i dont understand even that much?
ignorant bafoon.
anyway, point being; the guy opposite got a cab first, but he didnt get into it. he directed it towards my sis.
it was seriously nice of him!
thanks, whoever you are, man!
:)
another thing is.
why dont singaporeans move in right to the back of the bus?
all these skinny asses who dont take up much space, and wouldnt have much problem moving to the back of the bus.
and yet they stand their lil ass right where they stood initially.
then one part of the bus is really spacious, and the front is usually all squeezy.
and then there'll be some people who cant board the bus.
how inconsiderate can they get?
i mean, if i can find the space to move to the rear, i am sure then can, too!
horrible people.
