a little wisp of fresh air

i am not being literal.
though i am sitting in front of the fan.
the air is artificial though, not fresh.
oh man, exams have ended.
i cant believe it.
it is time to parrtttaaaayyy.

well oh my, i do have some updating to do.
went to play captains ball, bowling and karaoke with my sis, broinlaw, and their friends, a "concert" with briane.
hehe.

it is fun time.

disappointment

i am a wee bit disappointed.
i have been just looking for a study partner for Linguistics.
and.
well, it has just made me realise how.. well, i dun know what the word is.
it is not being selfish.
i guess people are just really practical, like they do what is best for themselves and you know, dont take into account someone who doesnt matter?
it has been really sad, the excuses i have heard.
like, hello?

those i asked from Sociology, i get it cos they have other papers.
but the rest.
oh.my.
"i'll be brain-dead", "i dont know what time i will wake up" are just two.
like, whatever.
i mean, if you even WANT to, you will try and negotiate.
disgusting.

i think it is just a wake up call.

so disappointing.

just a thought: should i start writing all my titles in allitertations?
HAHA.

well, anyway. i have 3 more papers to go.
and seriously, the previous have been major major screw-ups.
for 207, hm. just dont feel good about it.
for 221, i was so bloody slow, and all my articles were too short. DIE.
could fail, seriously.
for forensic science, i really hope i can just pass, since i SUed it.

as for those coming up, well. CHINESE. please dont kill me.
and the other two.. should be fine i think.
cant wait for this sem to be over.
i wana start striving As from next sem. :s
have had enough of being mediocre i guess.
i dont know, maybe i wont hold through with this once next sem comes.

confronted by my weaknesses.
i am not hardworking. why?
i like to study, but i dont like to memorise. i really dont.
and it has proven very unwise.
i feel so bloody sad today, with my awful Chinese marks.
i mean, there is redemption. that is not the point.
exams are not over, and i can still make sure i do well for it.
but why am i not hardworking?
is it cos i am lazy? they are known as opposites, but still.
is it cos i am not interested?
what am i interested in?
and hedwig's lesson is gonna start.
i need time for reflection. i just do.

The Noose

got a small dosage of tv today.
10 to 1030 pm on sindays.

and something i didnt expect on singapore tv, really.
almost like a satire.

Impromptu Sentosa Trip

i was supposed to study today really.
but the whole day took a topsy turvy turn from morning.
;)
how much would it take for you to believe someone when they say they like you?
well anyway, and so. i went to visit rayn first.
and of course, my plans changed.
hahahahhaa. all of us except my dad(who was working) went to sentosa, siloso beach.
and my sisters went on the luge.
It was fun!
but the best part of it all was the "songs of the sea"
well, heard of it, but didnt really know. but now i know!

it was amazing!
but a little something marred our experience.
we were sitting right in front, and somewhere in the beginning, the water splashed on us. it was intentional.
they said "there might be a water spray"
woah.
the thing rayn was sitting in front with us. bad bad.

but wow, the effects were simply awesome. the pyrotechnics, breathtaking.
worth a watch. :)

rough week.

i had an exceptionally packed week.
that is the thing about this sem for me.
i have periods of absolute slackness, and then i am hit by a few weeks of disaster.
and the thing is, i dont see it coming.
but well well, the week is over.
managed fine with the 3 tests, 1 30% assignment, and one presentation.
oh wait. no no.
CHINESE TEST FOR FORRIBLE.
if you get what i mean.
have been exercising more than usual. feels good man. :)

anyway, can someone do something about the noise at boon lay mrt stn?
it is NOT, and i emphasize, NOT a good way to start my day.
first it was the disgusting raw smell of choc, and now it is this headpounding construction noise.
funny la singapore, want singaporeans to be less stressed, but then got all this unnecessary unnecessary noise pollution all around! argh.
