dinner at sofra.

went to Sofra last sunday to celebrate my dad's anniversary.
lotsa obstacles, but the dinner eventually did happen.










it's obvious who the star was. ;)

hm, the food wasnt that great.
but anu loves the place, and i heard from her that the chef's plate is really good.
the ambience makes for a nice experience too.
try it.

gold teeth

this is possibly the funniest thing that has happened after sch reopened.

Jal: He looks really cool cos he has a goatee..
Feebs: Oh...Okay..I don't like..
Jal: Oh i showed them his pic.. they said he's quite cute too..
Feebs: *Frowns* Gold teeth right..
Jal: ERUPTS IN LAUGHTER.

and the thing is we continued talking after feebie established that i like guys who have gold teeth.
amazing.
hahahahahhahahaha.

it was SOOO fun.
zeinab falling was the highlight, of course.
i actually had a list of stupid things said during taboo.

Happy Anniversary Pa!

This is just my way of telling my dad how admirable his strength is.
Losing a spouse must be worse than losing a parent.
All the memories, and times shared.
People break when they break up with their partners, but the death of a partner.
It must be hard to deal with.
And he has taken it so strongly, my dearest papa.
Happy Anniversary PA! i hope Rayn Eshan will accompany you today- the boy who embodies mum's spirit and strenghth, and love in so many ways!

morning musings

it is early, and yes i am up early.
i actually thought i need to go to suntec for some ci club stuff.
ha ha.
oh well.
but i thought i shouldnt go back to sleep, since i have things to do
well, it has been two weeks since sch started.
so how has it it been?
well.
i have never been so stressed at the start of a sch term before.
i think it is cos of the deadlines that chron makes me meet.
that is expected though, every newspaper is like that.
except maybe the deadlines are tighter in the real world.
has made me wonder if i am cut out for journ?
i might just do pr and advertising.
anyway, i have been this cough since like 9th dec.
i think it is time i saw the doc again.
it is becoming increasingly irritating, cos it interrupts most of my conversations!
by the way, i am stunned by the things i have been seeing on the train.
amazing, but possible. guys are actually becoming more gentlemanly.
haha. well, till then.

so here i am, to fill the blog world with a little cheer, love and laughter from me.

well well, is jal running out of things to say?
haha, not really la. but i am sure getting really lazy to log in and blog.
but anyway, sch is quite a sad place now, the emptiness- quite scary.

i miss having lectures during which i can see the entire cohort.dont see so many people cos we are all pursuing our own tracks now- and that leads me to something even deadlier to rant about: choosing my track.

such a confusion. and the whole 1 track/2 track and no. of AUs and PEs thing. it is driving me nuts.
such that i dont even WANT to understand!
well anyway, i dont know. should i do Journ and PR, or PR and Advert, or Journ and Broadcast.so confusing.
at the end of the day, it might not matter, but i want to make one excellent decision in my life man!

well, all these said and done, i am still glad that i see a lot of the lovelies in sch, no matter how little the time i spend with them.

and the lovely at home. oh my god, i almost skipped lecture yesterday. he is so hard to part from la. :(

went for a carnival recently. haha.
i made good use of my hols.
and i am happy with my results. :))
but that doesnt mean i am not gonna start studying early!
